THE SWITCH'N NYC ANNOUNCES EXPANSION TO LOS ANGELES

LOS ANGELES - July 10, 2003 - Beers Enterprises, Inc. (BEI), the owner and operator of The Switch at 60 Hudson Street in New York City recently signed a Joint Services Agreement with Pacific Television Center, Inc. (PacTV) to locate a new video switching center at PacTV's 3440 Motor Avenue facility in Los Angeles. Service at 'The L.A. Switch' is expected in September.

"When we asked our New York customers what other services they wanted,' said Scott Beers, chairman of BEI, 'they told us to bring The Switch 'concept' to other cities. Major users want the security of diverse routing paths and the predictability of our flat pricing. First up in our expansion plan is Los Angeles."

The Switch provides users with unlimited, customer-controlled switching of their leased ports. Customers can switch their transmit and receive video circuits themselves without costly switch charges. These attributes offer immediate switch response times without the ambiguity that is inherent in manual facilities where customers are reliant on third parties to implement orders. Additionally, customers can accurately predict and budget for their switching expenses without cost overruns during major breaking news events where switching volume can increase dramatically.

'With 'The L.A. Switch', broadcasters can now control their own destiny and never lose the end of a feed again,' said Howard Fine, Vice President of Broadcast Services at PacTV.
