ALDEAVISION LAUNCHES VIDEO SERVICES AT PACIFIC TELEVISION CENTER IN LOS ANGELES

New Node in Los Angeles extends AldeaVision’s Automated Video Services in the West Coast.
Montreal, Canada (January, 20th 2004) -- AldeaVision Inc. (TSX: ALD), an innovative provider of broadcast quality video networking services and solutions, today announced the launch of its video services in Los Angeles. The Company’s new Point of Presence, which is installed at the Pacific Television Center facilities in Los Angeles, connects to AldeaVision’s existing fibre based video broadcast network in the US, Canada, Mexico, Venezuela and Peru.

" Our new media node in Los Angeles has been in operation since November 2003 and is already carrying live traffic for our customers. We are very pleased to have co-located our point-of-presence at Pacific Television Center, which has a well-deserved reputation of providing high quality play-out and studio services in our industry." said Lionel Bentolila, AldeaVision’s President and CEO. "With this addition to our international video network, we will be able to better service the important media industry and Hispanic broadcast community in Los Angeles." added Mr. Bentolila.
